The Kindness of Strangers
My debit card fell out of my pocket yesterday while I was helping my friend Ian canvass for his legislative campaign. Someone in the neighborhood found the card, googled me, and found my mom’s address and phone number. I’m waiting at Wheatfield’s for them to drop it off.
You know what this is? The power of the Internet combined with old-fashioned Midwestern goodwill. (They did tell me to bring photo ID, though.)
